Is Aikido a Martial Art ? - H Ellis 6th dan Aikikai Shihan reflects on over 65 years of Aikido - Kenshiro Abbe Sensei's aikido in the 1950s was without doubt a Martial Art - Aikido is no longer watered down - it is being vaporized - There is still good Aikido out there and they will not take offense to my article - sadly there is a great deal of fantasy Aikido - I could not care less what they think - S Seagal stated `Practical aikidoka can do dance - Dancing aikidoka can't do Practical aikido`.
